Voxbox was founded in 1993 by veteran Montreal announcer/broadcaster Richard Berle. Mr. Berle's radio experience includes 25 years of broadcast experience as announcer and program director. With the growth of automated answering systems, he anticipated the need for professionally voiced greetings in French and English for Quebec and then in Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch and Mandarin Chinese for voicemail systems abroad. Soon to follow was "on-hold" messaging geared to meet the marketing demands of a diversified business community.
Today, Voxbox voices can be heard at The Government of Canada, Baton Rouge Restaurants, Nuance Canada, 12 YMCA locations, Walmart Canada and Walmart Canada Bank, Hydro Québec as well as hundreds of other businesses both large and small in Canada, and elsewhere. Voxbox is proud to be voice supplier for TELUS.
